I've got almost 6000 miles on the 210 tune with zero issues beside the DashDaq being stolen . Overall mileage is up about 1.5 mpg and the truck runs like a rapped ape :D. You can go from 60-95+ in the blink of an eye and you have a tons of power on tap when towing.
Overall I'm happy with how the truck runs but I wish the mileage was a little better. I believe the mileage issue is mostly caused by the 4.10 gears because they can't keep the truck in the sweet spot (1800-2000 rpms) when running 70-75 on the highway.
I've heard the guys with 3.73 gears which you have are getting better mileage because it will stay in the sweet spot at 70-75 mph so you should be fine in the mileage department and you'll love the power.

easy, cant remember exactly but, go to main menu, then tuning then load tune, then you should be able to pick the tunes by goin left and right, takes about 15-20 minutes, when you are saving the stock tune for the first time it takes like 30 minutes

OOWeaver68 is correct (probably the first time ever on this site). Not really, just kidding!!! About 15 minutes to change from one tune to another, and 35 minutes to load/reload stock tune. It copies your entire stock file when you load the first tune, that why it takes so long. I probably see a 3-3.7 increase in economy. But then again I have to drive like an old lady, no faster than 67. At my age I don't have to drive like Gerry, I will get there, maybe last, but at least I will get there!!!!! Don't know why your getting a tuner, but I can say that if it is power that you want you will definitely get it. As far as support, no middle man to deal with. You will deal directly with Matt, or Scott. Great support, great product. Doesn't get any better!!!!!!!!

http://www.spartandieseltech.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7 is the link to the sticky...should work, if not scroll to top of this screen, click on "installation and FAQ", click on the first sticky (something about tune downloading) and then open the document for tune installation!
I guess what I am looking for is how to load my stock "tune" to the DD.
I have my other tunes on the DD. But I go to load stock and there is nothing there to load.

Tommy - You will not have anything listed under stock tune till you load your first tune. Before it loads a tune, it will copy your stock file on to the sd card. Then it will load the tune that you selected. Just make sure your are using the latest firmware update on your DashDaq, 1.4.2-1303. You do not want to use it's predecessor, 1.4.0-1219, it had problems. If it's not updated, remove the sd card and update it. If you need help, call me, see

Make sure you backup all your tunes, and stock file once you have access to it. Don't wait and have your computer crash, they you are kinda screwed! At least for awhile anyway!

Paul, Thanks for the answer, such a simple answer. Ok now I am looking for a simplified way to update to the newest firmware.
I just got my DD in and looking for a step by step procedure to update the firmware. I have seen the warnings to NOT press the check for updates button on the DD tool screen.
I try to drag and drop without success.
Any advice from here, I would like official confirmation of it being OK to press the check for updates button.
I am from Longview Texas where are you located?
Thanks again Paul

Tommy - You can now use the check web for update button. When the Dashdaq first came out you couldn't. Found it! http://www.spartandieseltech.com/forum/showthread.php?t=106&highlight=check+update
I am located between Huntsville and Trinity, in E. Texas. I will try to locate the thread about using it. Give me a call, anytime...

Make sure your DashDaq Updater software is installed on your PC - either from the CD that came with the DD or you can download it from DrewTech's site....once it is installed, connect your DD with the supplied USB cable (use the port on the left side of the DD where there is only one - the two on the right side of the DD are downstream only!). Lauch your DD updater software and once it is up press "Check Web for Updates", follow all prompts from there....
