Has anyone installed the necessary hardware/programming to monitor fuel pressure using the Phalanx? I would like to start gathering info and get needed materials to perform this mod. Thanks

Does the Phalanx have the ability to monitor it? I know it can monitor fuel rail pressure, but I didn't know it even had the ability to monitor fuel pressure.

Stupid question, what is the differance between the two? I want to make sure I'm gettning enough fuel/pressure to the injectors for longevity.

Rail pressure is the fuel pressure at the fuel rail on a common rail, but the 6.0 is not a common rail motor so it won't read that period I don't guess. Fuel pressure is the pressure between the lift pump and the high pressure pump I believe.

I believe when the Phalanx was released for the 6.0 that someone was monitoring fuel pressure. They had listed the needed hardware etc. I had already ordered my phidgets to monitor egt's when I should have ordered another type board with more inputs to add the fuel pressure. Guess I'm going to have to do some digging around the forums.

Why don't you just email Mick? If he doesn't know I am sure he will find the answer for you from Matt. I believe he might be on his way to Texas today, but he should have you an answer in the next few days when he gets settled in at home for Christmas.

Here is some info I found on fuel pressure monitoring with the Phalanx. I will probally get everything ordered in a month or so and install when it warms up around here. http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/931882-dashdaq-xl.html
