Turbo Boost

I was just wondering whats the highest boost you guys have seen with the 250 tune and intake....i think i seen 40 with mine...and also how much boost do yall spool up when your "at the track racing" cuz i spooled up 15psi and it launched hard it 4x4 but i still didnt beat the truck i was racing as bad as i think i should have

I believe the highest I have ever seen is about 38. But, I don't usually run the truck very hard, just once in awhile!!!!

I have tried launching mine at 2000 RPM because its easier for me to hit the big line on the tach than try to get the same boost everytime. It works well for me but I think I need a more aggressive tire before any real passes because with the 250 tune if I throttle it to hard it'll spin all four of my Mickey MTZs! No it may not spin them long but enough to cost you in a close race...oh yeah, and enough to impress me I LOVE THIS THING! lol

ahha ya...ill have to watch my RPMs too next time i suppose...i was just wondering what all you guys who have draged raced these things were doin to get em below the 14 mark...

What steps are you guys taking before launching so they wont spin ?? How are you using your 4x4 on ur launch ??

I use 4 high and keeping the rpm around 2000 gets the slack out of the driveline so HOPEFULLY nothing breaks, it also seems 2 make just enough boost to get you moving quick but keeps it low enough that it wont spin tires that have good grip. Then these trucks seem to make boost pretty quick so it doesnt hurt you to start off with the lower boost. Well atleast it seems to be working for me anyway but Ive always been into sled pulling until now and Im sort of still learning too, so maybe I shouldnt be giving advice but getting it! lol
