My business partner Stroken and I both have brand new aftermarket navigation units in our trucks. Both have a USB cable from the units to plug in a camcorder, digital camera, Ipod etc. Our question is, can we plug a DashDaq unit (which comes with it's own USB cable) into this USB cable and have the DashDaq unit function through the navigation units touch screen? We have not had the guts to just plug it in yet as we are afraid we will destroy either unit, neither of which is easy to replace. That would be pretty awesome if it could be done as we would not need to mount anything on the dash or windshield. We need someone with a little more brain power to advise us.

Yeah, we were just dreaming. Rob and I have decided to mount on the ashtray after taking off the cover. If I get my truck out of the hospital (1000 km) and I ever get a Dashdaq, I will put mine in the same place. Can't seem to get any reply from Sales or anyone in order to buy one! I will have to stick in this SCT I have until I can talk to someone and order the one I want.

Like I said, if someone would contact me and let me order the Dashdaq I would be more than happy to get rid of the SCT. Right now I have a truck with no DPF and no Dashdaq. What option do I have?

I got my DD mounted and my tunes installed.
I will do what it takes to not let CCV know what is going in there for a tune.
If you are around this weekend and my truck makes it out I will come pick you up and we can get the gauges working. I thought I got the 275 tune but then when I woke up this morning my shorts where all sticky and it was the 250 on the email. The 24" KMC rims look sick and I can not wait to get the beast out of the shop

No idea, I have not even put it in yet. I seen my partner Robs's DD and don't have the heart to install it unless I have to. My old 6.0 is still running so I can drive it until I hear from Spartan. It's kind of like buying a boob job for your wife. I am sure you could shop around and get her a quick cheap set, but when it comes down to it, you get what you pay for in the end. I will wait and sell my SCT to an unworthy sole when I find one. I seen a guy with a brand new green 2008 F350 with 15" wheels I think, oh wait, that was Rob. lol

DIESEL FOOL - Go to the Drewtech site, then support, forum, and leave a post. There are already some threads about running things through the DashDaq. I would be willing to bet that someone on their site, or Drewtech will respond.

Yeah it was pretty sad looking. Awful funny to see the looks from people in a drivethru however. All he needed was a straw hat and some cowshit smeared on his truck. He's got the big lift and the 24"s on now but I was not thinking and should have grabbed a photo. We were thinking (dangerous) while sitting at Tim Hortons that we should bead blast the chrome off our big wheels and let them rust. Start a new trend you know?
