250 with stock Intake

I got my exhaust put on today but the Volant Intake has not shown up yet,
Am I OK to run my 250HP Tune with the stock air filter? It feels like I am going to suck it inside out.

im sure its fine, i already had my CAI on when i put the tunes in, you wont get as much air as you could with the CAI, so you might have a little more smoke and you might suck in the filter minder, which isnt a big deal, you can just reset it

Stroken - Go ahead and run it. If it sucks the filter minder all the way in, you will get a check engine light (CEL). Just pop the hood and reset the filter minder. That will clear your CEL. Have fun!! I helped a guy out last night from Del Rio Texas. He said he installed the Volant, and it didn't fit. He said they are going to send him some more parts for it, and also that it was a _itch to install. Hope you don't have the same problem...

As said above, its fine to run, but if you mash it it WILL suck in the filter minder.

Onto the Volant, I heard the same thing from a friend out in Vegas...said it was the best looking product he had seen in the box, but the worst fitting piece of shit he had ever tried to install...lol
