Ok guys, I went to the track last night and was not happy with my times at all but what can you expect from a rookie. I did 5 passes and my best time was 13.677. This was with the 275 tune. First time ever racing at a track. I aired down my tires, 32psi rear, 42psi in the front.
Rookie Mistakes - Full tank of Diesel, Spare Tire On, Tailgate Up and On.
HOW CAN I IMPROVE MY TIMES and if my rookie mistake do make a difference?

Take the tail gate off, spare off, 1/4 tank of fuel next time lol

What was your 60 foot time? What were you leaving the line at? That 13.6 isn't that bad for the 275 tune for your first time out and all that weight on the truck.

To be honest man, I was trying to look at my boost and look at the lights at the same time and I don't know what I launched at. I do know that on this pass I a beat a Lightning though.

You back halfed really good. Your 1/8 mile E/T and mph are a little low. Your 60 foot, with practice, could get in the 1.75-1.79 range pretty easy. That will bring your 1/8 and 1/4 E/T down a lot. Also, what elevation was the track at?

It was at Houston Raceway Park. If I'm not mistaking, the elevation is something like 5 meters according to google. The track is damn near on the water.

Do either of you know how much your trucks weigh?

At the moment, between 7700-7800 lbs with me in the truck.

Best way to lower your time is to load up the 310...:D

Yeah I know. I ran a 12.69@104.9 with the 310 the other day.
