View Full Version : Won't backup Stock

Finally got around to installing the DPF pipe. Pretty straight-forward if you've done any prior exhaust wrenching.

I'm attempting the load the tunes (I've selected the 250hp), everything appears to be great as the countdown to 100% backup of the stock file commences, however I then get an error.

I'm missing something. This has been my 2nd time. This time I unplugged the DD and completely rebooted. 3rd time in progress at the time of this writing. Hope 3rd time is truly the charm !

Similar experience ? Advise ?

Not sure what the deal is but did did you load your tunes on the supplied SD card in a folder called transfer?? Have you tried to load another tun besides the 250?? Does it crash before it starts writing the tune??

Glenn called me. We did everything that we could, but it still gives him a stock file error when coping the file. Told him to follow up with an email to 64caliberations, and pm to Matt & Nutty. Sure would be nice if it would at least load a tune!!!

My load did something similar. The first time it failed, so I repeated it and it worked.

We tried it 3 times, no luck! It does not even get to the part where it starts to load the tune...

He PM'ed me I asked him to make sure the DD was licensed to his vin#

Update: The stock file is backed-up and resides in the transfer folder. The issue is that none of the tunes will transfer:confused:. Spoke with Matt today. He'ss digging into the issue; contacting Drewtech potentially this evening.

It didn't give him the message that some had when they sent in the wrong vin #. Hopefully they will send him something to get it up and running!

Last communication is that Matt is awaiting tech. support from Drewtech. Installed Monday night....it's Thursday morning and I calmly await a fix :confused: Hope I'm up and running for the weekend :). Keep you posted.
