Tune question.

OK so I must say my truck is an absolute beast now with the spartan.. My question is what are the changes that are made to the trucks computer system to get all this power? I notice that the boost seems higher then stock and gets there quick but I was wondering what all gets changed. Also what is the likely hood that these changes are bad for the truck or could cause damage. The truck seems so much different then it was when it was stock. Is there anything I should keep an eye on or be watching for?

I think the generic answer you are going to get is more fuel, more injection timing and more boost is how they are making the power.

Just monitor your gauges and you are more than likely going to be fine. Bottom line is if you beat your truck on the high tunes every day, something is probably going to wear out. I've only had mine tuned for about 7,000 miles now, cycling between the 210 regular and the 250 tunes and have had absolutely no issues. At the same time, I'm not towing 20k lbs, sled pulling, or doing boosted launches trying to keep up with Corvettes! :)
