Does this product actually come with a pipe to replace the DBF or just the software?

You will have to purchase the delete pipe. Matt sells them and there are other as well.

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping that for $1499 the three tunes plus the delete dpf tune included the pipe.

I'm afraid to ask what the pipe is :D

That should cover three tunes and the delete pipe if I remember correctly. The 250 tune is around $200 extra, if you decide to purchase it!

yea, i ordered just the tuner and it was like 1100. the pipe is 350 more i think. it should be listed on the release page packaging.

Where are the Spartan dpf/doc delete pipes made? The only reason I ask is because the lag time between receiving the tunes and getting the pipe seems long....

Okay... nice to know. Just anxious to get this thing up and running!! Love the DashDaq unit and have impressed friends and coworkers with it. They're now searching for their own "custom tuner" that will use the same unit.... to my knowledge nobody in the diesel world is using it except Spartan.

firmware updates and loading the tunes/guages is easy. There's step by step info here and on the diesel garage. You'll be up and running in no time!

Oh yah, my DD came within a few days. Its kinda a tease, you get everything setup, then you wait. i do know that Matt and the Spartan team are putting out the pipes as quick as they are being made.

i loaded the 250 tune last night, to make sure the tune would load, then tried to get it back to stock, wouldnt go, i had to get another copy of my stock file from scott and then it loaded in, but anyway, i had the 250 in it for about 25 miles and didnt romp on it to bad and when i put it back to stock it went into regen for a while, message center said "DRIVE TO CLEAN EXHAUST FILTER", then finally said it was complete

Cold Smoke
08-28-2008, 06:44 PM
well, I did load the tunes to make sure they would work then I returned it back to stock to make sure all was well with that. It's just too tempting to scroll through that "tuning" menu and not load the mother up and see what I have been missing...

i finally got my delete in two weeks after i ordered it, then got the CAI the next day, but im still waiting on MBRP exhaust, its been more than two weeks now, i looked at where they are located and they are in canada, so maybe thats what taking so long

i ordered everything from spartan, intake, delete, dpf back exhaust, and tuner of course.

the intake came stright from the AFE warehouse, so im guessing my exhaust would come straight from MBRP, right?

has anyone ordered the MBRP exhuast, from spartan? How long did it take to come in?

That would not hurt anything, hell you could leave your stock filter back on...wont hurt nothing.

yea, i thought about that but i dont want to get soot all over the stock exhaust, then if something comes up and it has to go back to the dealer, i can put it all back to stock, and i looks just like it does now, no soot at all

Pahrump
09-07-2008, 06:01 PM
Run it out the delete pipe then...but be aware, that you will have soot all over the bottom of your truck, and rearend...dont ask me how I know this...

oh ok, yea i can pretty much get off when i want to also, usually about 530 to 6, but i can get off earlier than that, only thing that gonna suck is that the exhuast is gonna be fucking hot if we are gonna do this when i drive from work to where ever this is gonna happen, as long as everything goes smooth i think we can get this done in couple hours, right? or if the evening dont work out, i usually have fridays off

but i will give you a hollar later when i get the exhaust

thanks

what kind of business do you own?
