I just got DashDaq and when I started it up it has firmware 1.4.2-1303 and everything here says a different "earlier version"

Do i need to update it to the version on the website? or just leave it as is?

Thanks

-Josh

battlecattle - What operating system do you have on your computer. If it's Windows XP, you will have to load the driver for it. If it's Vista 32 bit operating system, it should pick it up automatically. If it's Vista 64 bit operating system it won't work. This should help:

Todd2002 - Got a reply from DrewTech this afternoon. They said that they have what they call mongoose product software that now works with the 64 bit systems. Only one problem, I can't locate it on their site. I sent them another email. We will see. Is your system Vista Ultimate, or ?????. Please let me know.

Todd2002 - Well got another reply from DrewTech. Wasn't what I was first told, but they did respond when I asked. Here's what they said: We are working on fixing the DashDAQ update software to run on Vista 64. I'll let you know when it is working.

I hope it is soon!!!!!!!!!!

Todd2002 - Was it at normal operating temperature? The reason I'm asking, is because I helped another person that was having a similar problem. Once the engine warmed up, everything was fine...
