Well got to meet 2 members of the forum at the Diesel Nationals today, Pahrump, and OOWeaver68. Was to say at least interesting. Had a great time. First time ever at a drag strip, and won't be my last! Pahrump did run his truck, and we all did a good job on selling the Spartan tunes. I will let him fill you in on all the details of most of his runs. I have to tell about one! If he does stretch the truth a little, then I'll post some pictures. Just be sure to ask him about forgetting to put his truck in 4 wheel drive. His truck went up in smoke. By the time he had moved one truck length, the other guy was a full length ahead and it only got worst from there. He really got his butt kicked on that one! The other truck that whipped him was a ratty Ford white with dents in the passenger was. I can say that his truck did run quite well, just not on that run. He pulled the sled, and his truck was very impressive! He's like a young kid on Viagra! Full of piss and vinegar, and tells it like it is, even if you don't ask! Don't ask him what he thinks of Dodge, or any other truck. It's the wrong thing to discuss. OOWeaver68 on the other hand is completely different than Pahrump, thank God. He's kind of quiet, polite and bigger than my Jeep Liberty diesel....That a joke Weaver. Don't kick my butt the next time we meet, please! Actually they are both very nice people to meet and be around. When I get time I'll post some pictures on Photobucket for everyone to see.

Well, I guess I'll be stealing Scott's thunder by posting this early, but just thought I would drop in and say congrats to Pahrump, who conquered the DHRA work-stock class at the sled pulls today in Houston at the DHRA Nats, winning the class with two back-to-back 300+ft pulls.

He also ran a 13.2 @ 99mph on TUNE ONLY at the track.

2 back to back 300+ft pulls to take the sled pull win, and a 13.3xx@99 on motor, and a 13.2-@101mph on about a 50hp shot of spray....truck ran GREAT..BIG THANKS TO MATT/SCOTT @SPARTAN!!!!!!!!!!

And yes this is a 6.4L 2008 11K mile F250 with 10" lift and 38x15.50 on 20x12 wheels, and a carseat strapped in the back seat...LOL

AFE intake, Powerstroker67 pipe, and SPARTAN 275 TUNES!!!

This is my 13.2@101mph pass with a little n02 you can see it jerk off the line...the guy in the maroon cheby next to me ended up winning that class and I think he was running a 12.5 or something.

Scott - Great video's. Think you forgot to tell everyone about how loose your truck got about 3/4 length down the track! I believe it happened on the first, or second run. We all thought your were going into the wall...

Yeah it got hella loose...must have been water on the track or something, it was all over the place at about the 1000ft mark...I was holding on for life..lol

Yeah 275...expected....hell I dunno, its an 8750lb truck with 38's so prolly more than I expected.

That's ok Scott. Next time we meet and you can't remember to log your runs, we'll talk about old and who can't remember #hit!!!!! You need to frame the one of that old ratty Ford that kicked your butt. You know, the one where you placed second! And see if I set your gauges up again. Guess I need to find a virus to put on your sd card. An old man, that can still hang with the young kids!

As promised, here is the link to some pictures that I took at the Diesel Nationals. It's easy to find Pahrump's truck. Just look for a ratty old white Ford that is in front of a black 2008. In that race he placed second, or did he as OOWeaver68 said think it was the burnout contest?????? Seriously, Pahrump did one hell of a job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
