Once per day the Dash Daq freezes. Simple enough fix (turn it off and back on) but it should not happen. Often happens on restart but sometimes when I switch between gauge display. Anny suggestions other than Firmware as I have the latest!

Thanks for the quick response. Surprised no one else has complained? Does not effect performance but is kinda pain in the @ss when you look over and all gauges are reading ZERO!...Again

Mine does the same thing. Also if I change tunes, it gives me a communication error, and won't load the tune. After I turn it off and back on again it works fine.

mine does it to so I just shut it down when I get out and turn it back on when I get back in. It only locks up when the truck sits for a bit. I also do that because people keep saying there DD are getting stolen. If they cant't see it they can't take it.:D

I did post a message on the DrewTech forum about some of the problems. They have make some awesome improvements, since the early days of the DashDaq, and hopefully they will get these problems fixed.

It's probably happening to most of us. I do know if I put my unit in sleep mode before I shut off the engine, that about 95% of the time it works correctly after I restart the truck.

Mine seems to work fine if put into "sleep" mode when not in use. If screen is left On for any length of time after shuting off truck, the screen may freeze. But has returned to normal after rebooting.
