Well, I was working on replacing my EGRTA Sensor just a few minutes ago, they senor was slowly making its way out about 3/4 of the way when I suddenly heard SNAP! The hex head snapped right off the sensor, now I assume the only solution is removing the passenger side up-pipe, doesn't look too terribly hard, my question is, will it come out without removing the cab, I know it can be taken loose I have found the needed bolts to remove it a total of 8.

John, you sure are having bad luck with that truck. Hope you get it fixed without too much of a problem.

I dont believe so, but by looking I think I can snake it out, alot more room behind the engine that a 6.0 atleast when I get it loose I know I can get it maneuver enough to atleast drill and tap if neccisary. I wanted to change it myself to avaoid the dealer hassle since I had just installed my water/meth system the day before the sensor went.

a little off topic there john but does the water/meth work good? im thinking of getting some for everyday use and just use the giggle gas during competition. hope you get that stupid sensor out.

Well to be honest I don't know I got one run with the water/meth before the sensor went south! But it seemed to help alot and that was before I even had a chance to tune on it, only had it set to 50%

The truck is fixed! I just chopped the part of the bung that had the threads in it and left the seat intact, welded a 12x1.0 nut on top of it, got about 3/4 of it welded around with loosening the downpipe, leaks a lil' bit but not anything I can't stand until after Christmas when I order my turbochargers and have to lift the cab then I will fix it correctly. I may try some Sonic Weld on the back-side of the bung to see if that will stop it as well.
