Well DrewTech now has 2 versions on Beta at this time. I'm getting ready to down it and will report what I find. This is what I copied from the DrewTech site:
DashDAQ-2.1.0-1414 posted
When I downloaded the new firmware it list the update as 2.1.0-1416. When you go to the set-up screen there is now a Power button, for Auto Power Off. You will have the options of selecting never, 1, 5, 20, 30, and 60 minutes. That's really the only thing I have noticed so far.
Well hooked it up to the truck, and found a few problems. First time, it only scans 253 Ford, and 31 OBDII. Then I had to change the complete signal list to 3, and it picked up 368 Ford and 31 Generic. But, EGRTA is not listed at all, under Ford or anything else. Also when it first starts scanning the OBDII it displays $41-$5F. Don't know what it means, but I will for sure get with DrewTech to have it corrected before it is released..... Getting ready to reload 2.0.1-1394. I want my egt's back.

Yes -- there are two versions in beta right now. Read the other posting if you want the safe, conservative version.
This posting is about 2.1.x which contains all the latest-and-greatest features that we've been testing in alpha. I moved this to the beta forum because I need a wider audience for testing. If you can't see this version in the update tool it's because you never posted your serial number so you're not authorized in the update tool.
Starting with new features:
* Auto-power added to setup menu, only works for GenericOBD2. You'll get an unexpected shutdown if you have this enabled but you're only reading enhanced signals.
* Buell XB9 motorcycles added support
* ChryslerSpecific fixed scaling on a lot of things including engine coolant temperature, problem entering diagnostic mode, increased P3_MIN from 3ms to 5ms
* EFI Technologies added support
* FordSpecific imported ~900 numeric and ~5000 on/off signals from the latest spreadsheet. This includes a ton of stuff for Mazda. You'll need to redo list signals and set "Complete Signal List: 3" to see the newest stuff.
* GMSpecific includes everything from the Solstice GXP testing
* GenericOBD has new operations to read Freeze Frame and I/M Readiness.
* GenericOBD has a parameter to switch between fast/full signal detection; the default (fast) is preferred for almost all vehicles. Checks O2 manually if the data looks untrustworthy.
* GenericOBD uses the fastest 6x CAN mode by default. There's a parameter to disable this if necessary.
* GenericOBD has a bunch of new signals including fuel loop open/closed. Can read Permanent DTCs. Can read lots of the new hybrid/diesel PIDs.
* GenericOBD increased # of decimal places for wideband O2, narrowband O2, and plenty of others
* GenericOBD fixes DTC reading to show whatever trouble codes it was able to read even if there was an error. Eliminated some clutter so this screen is easier to read.
* GenericOBD has a signal "OBD Network" for debugging the autodetection
* Haltech fixes MAP; it's actually a relative (gauge) pressure
* Hydra EMS added support for the 2.6 firmware, fixed scaling on some signals
* Logworks output now is synchronized to the correct timings
* Navigation software compelled us to make some changes
* SubaruSpecific got a boat-load of new vehicle-specific signals. You'll need to redo list signals.
And the bugs:
* Non-USA vehicles sensitive to ISO9141 / ISO14230 five baud init might have trouble.
* FordSpecific has no abbreviations for the new signals so it displays "Please Wait (really!)" while it's checking those. There are a lot of signals so the screen might not update for 1 or 2 minutes during the scan.
* GenericOBD has trouble reading fuel trim on CAN vehicles. Disable the 6x mode and everything works fine.
* GMSpecific shouldn't co-exist with GenericOBD; only load one or the other.
* SubaruSpecific has no abbreviations on the new signals and uses defaults for # of decimal places, minimum, and maximum. Try them out and please let me know about any scaling errors.
