i know many of you use the afe but i have read comments from matt that he is somewhat disappointed with them. i opted not to get one in a package from spartan so i could wait to see if they fixed the problems or if another brand surfaced that was working a little better. my service manager at ford suggested a truflow or volant. has anyone heard about or used one of these brands?
what intake should i use. right now i run the 210 tune but will most likely get the 250 at some point.

Never heard of truflow. Volant is high dollar and suppose to be real nice. Check some of the other forms. I read awhile back that someone installed one. I have the AFE Stage II with Torque Tube. No problems so far while running any of the tunes from 75 to 250 hp. However there are alot of guys saying they have had a lot of problems with them. S & B is another one that you should check out. Hope this help you some!

Running the S&B intake, very nice system, good fit, good look. Not getting any codes after 2500 miles.

I would've bought a tru flow or s&b but but I scored an afe really cheap on ebay. It threw a cel stock, but no problems with it tuned for 2+ months.

I got mine at Diesel Manor. Price was good, better if you were EVER in the military, 10% discount.

This is the best price I can find on the Volant intakes. I have the AFE but I think I will upgrade to this one later. I REALLY like it.
I also found on the website a discount code for $20.00 off. It said enter coupon code Twenty during checkout.
