Can anyone provide a link to download the config file for the 1128 firmware update.

When i click on the link it opens it up as a text document.

You need to save it to your computer, not open it.

I quess that I need some real help on this deal. I have tried several times to update my DD to the newest firmware. Do I need to hook the unit to my PC with the cable? I could use all the help I can get. When I do a signal scan the unit finds like 128 ford sinals and 26 obd2 signals. My unit still shows that it has the 135-1111 firmware, I am sure that this is the problem, but I can't seem to get it to download properly. I get Matt's guage package, but hardly any of them are working.

download the firmware (1128) to the computer, extract files. Know where to locate it on your PC. Open your DashDaq Update Tool, plug in the usb cord from pc to the DashDaq(bottom left port). The info of DashDaq should be shown on the Update Tool screen.. DO NOT.. CLICK WEB For UPDATEs! Open the new firmware file. Click and Drag the file to the info of DashDaq Update Tool screen. This should automaticlly install the new firmware. Get this done 1st.

Remember DO NOT click on the Check Web For Updates ! This will earse the most current firmware.

You should have a CD that came with the DashDaq or find the thread DashDAQ/Phalanx Update Software on this site to download update tool.

just wanted to say thanks paul, he helped me get the gauge file goin, it wasnt working for me earlier, but he knew exactly what to do and got me going, hell of guy, if anybody needs help contact him, he definately knows his stuff
