Does your DD display loose its signal on a daily basis? Do you turn it off at night? How often do you reboot it. Just wondering what recommended habits are...

Me = 1. dim the display when I shut the truck off. 2. Reboot when all the gauges say zero.

Yup, same issue here. I find that if I hit the off button on the lower left corner of the DD before shutting the truck down, then to restart start the truck first then power the button back on the DD. I never have any problems with gauges staying at zero doing it in this manner.

I usually always power mine off simply because I disconnect it and stash it in the consolevault.

+1. I do the same procedure and it does not freeze.

FloodIndustrial - I power mine down and do the same thing. That's the best place to put it. There have been 4-5 on here that got ripped off from leaving it out in the truck, or in the console...

The vault is a great investment....

I get the issue of signals not working when I leave my SD card in, if I leave it out I never have any issues.

I just upgraded to 1394, I'm going to run that for a while and see if it still drops signals.

I have 2.1.0-1459, BETA version on mine and I thought the problem had been solved. Worked really good if it wasn't left on longer than 15 minutes, so I left it on for about 45 and everything picked back up except for MGP, and OET... Back to the drawing board again.....
