check elite diesel for turbo upgrades i wouldnt recommend pushing a bigger turbo til head studs and fire ring head gaskets are installed that would be bad to go with a biger turbo to just screw more up

why is that? the headstuds arent the weak part of the truck, the lack of fuel is whats hurting them. and with a bigger turbo with the fuel thats in there isnt what causes the headstuds too stretch its cylinder pressure.

I dont think anything on the engine needs touched till 800 or so HP....well cept the fueling and turbos...but theres no need to pull the heads.

im not even gonna do turbos....... yet. just crank up the spray a little more. ill do turbos when they finally make headstuds cause the cab will be off anyways.

I agree with you.....I will do fuel upgrades before turbos...and with that extra fuel I will spray more.

Well I only have one set of twins....the setup on my truck is a dual setup...

I want the turbos to clean up my existing 250 tune so i dont have to spray, with the bigger turbo i could effectivly use the extra power to tow with. Right now i cant even use the all the power out of the 150hp tune towing heavy without gettin the EGT's hot towing. Dont get me wrong i use the 250 for my tow tune, i just back out of it to keep it cool but id like to use a little more of the power i have on tap.

Yeah for drag strip performance the Water/meth is not that big of a deal but when towing...water injection really helps with EGTs

I already have the snow stage 3 kit. Its not enough and its only good tell the resivor is empty.

I ordered my Snow Performance 8 Galllon resovior today! Will be in tomorrow I am pretty excited, you really should get one SnadDemon........

I have the same problem with EGT's while towing. I had read somewhere else the water/meth would not really help that much. Is that incorrect?
I am running the 210 when I tow and if I hit it too hard it will jump the EGT's real quick and then defuel. would the water/meth help with that?
Also, while I am at it, what do use for the water/meth? I have heard some people use windshield washer fluid.

I would not recommend spending the money on it right now not untill the tune can be refined for it. I have been told by some that they are having no problems and it helps however I can tell you that I have mine set up with the min. amount of spray and like matt recommended running 20 deg washer fluid my egt's go up by 200 to 500 degrees depending on how hard im in it and I have seen no fuel increase definatly not worth the money imo not with all the differance in tunes

harley6.4...so you do have to get new tunes? I asked this question on another thread and no one answered. I am looking hard at the snow stage 3 boost cooler system. You say your egt's went up 200-500 deg. from what? That would be destructive if yours hit what mine do w/o W/M. Please elaborate.. thanks, Jason

my understanding is that there is to much timing I don't understand they differance in tunes between the trucks but what i can tell you is now driving 70 down the road my truck will cruise pull a small hill and hit about 740 egt then with the w/m it will climb to 850-900. At full throttle the egt will only go to 1560 now without it, and 1750 with it so not to sure why that is I sent a pm to nutty to find out. I have heard from some people that it works the way it's supposed to on there truck but they all have job 3 trucks I have a job 1 truck. the other guy I know with a job 1 truck is running sct tune and had to have innovative change somthing to make it work right.

Maybe Matt or Nutty can shed some light here. They are too proud (snow) of thier products to not know if its gonna work or not.
