Haven't seen any posts on the GPS add on for the DD's lately. Does anyone know if they have released one that will work in Canada? If not can anyone from Spartan tell me if there are plans to do so in the future or should I just buy a seperate GPS unit?
Thanks

It's already been released with USA, and Canada maps. Same price as before, $200.00...... As far as the GPS for the DashDAQ, or another one just depends on you. If you don't mind having something else plugged in on your dash then you could get a regular GPS, or just connect the cable to the DashDAQ and us it...

Is there a separate cable to plug in with the GPS feature or do you just mean the same cable that hooks to the OBD port? Thanks

It comes with another cable. Connect it to the DashDAQ, and place the antenna on the dash, or windshield and after you update the firmware you will be good to go. You will only use the OBDII port to communicate with the truck. the other cable is for the GPS only.
