ok i think i might be kinda lost or maybe not...i installed my tunes on my truck finally the 250 is so crazy!!! im in love i donno if ill get better mpgs in the truck or not...but anyway i got the firmware 1.3.5-1128??? is this right i did check web for update cuz im pretty sure matt or someone said it was now cool to use it. also i downloaded the config file, was this the guage config? if so what should the EGRTA be assined to?? what it is on now?? or like bank 1 or something? and also my EGT's have hit 1800 when i stomped it from 40-90mph...i know ppl beat thier stuff more than that..aka matt doing his bada$$ burnout, what your EGT hit then matt? is 1800 too high?? cuz it got there in a hurry so kinda scared it might go higher..also what do all the abbrivations mean on the screen when you scrool over on the guages, like Ect, Eot, EFTI stuff like that...anyway like ive said im super new to this and the diesel world and just kinda nervus drivin the truck a lil hard...

The lateset is 1.4.0 1219, so update. the Exhaust gas temp is the EGRTA- just pick a gauge that is on your mainscreen of gauges you like to watch while going down the road...depending on which screen of gauges you pick...Personally I like the 3 round dial gauges. I list EGT, Boost and RPM, by setting the high and lows of each indicator with colors I can tell in a glance if I'm running at optimum effecienty;).

i just installed my tunes on sat..and did check web for updates...and thats the one it installed...you check it at the start up screen correct?? cuz min says 1.3.5-1128 so why didnt it install the latest cuz the latest came out b4 that right??

1128 is not the latest, but I would hold off downloading DashDAQ-1.4.0-1219. This is what I copied from NuttyProfessor:

We are experiencing some issues with the latest firmware and returning the vehicle to stock. I will let everyone know when the fix is available. Please only ask for a stock file replacement if you need to put the vehicle back to stock for dealer work before the update is available. The update may be able to still use the existing ".stk" file. Sorry for the inconvenience.

ok thats cool but why didnt my dashdaq download firmware 1.4.0 1219 when i did check web for updates on this past sat...it was out b4 then...or did they pull it because they were having problems??

They may have pulled it, not too sure. They are working on a fix, hopefully it will be out by the end of next week or so. I can say this about Spartan, they really do an outstanding job. I know the ones that could not reload the stock tunes, and really need it so they could get their truck running, Spartan jumped right on it and got them up and running. Don't think we could ask for better service...
